Kane99
It feels like it was forever ago when Bulletstorm dropped on PS3, 360 and PC back in 2011. Now I'm seeing there is a VR game and new DLC dropping. I never would have expected a game that originally came out in 2011 getting new content. I mean, we did get remastered versions for the Xbone, PS4 and even the Switch. And now we just got a VR version earlier this month with new story DLC that includes 2 new levels for Trishka. Sadly the original releases likely won't see this DLC as it looks exclusive to the Meta Quest and PSVR2 version of the game. And to be fair, I don't think we would have seen this DLC released on old hardware anyway. You'd probably be lucky to get the DLC on last gen consoles. Bulletstorm is clearly a great option for a VR game, especially with the style of gameplay it promotes. I kind of hope to see more of these classics get the VR treatment. Who here has played this new version of the game? If not, is this something you'll get down the road? I don't own a PS5 or a Meta Quest yet, but when I do, this will be one of the first games I check out.
Lens
I completely agree that Bulletstorm is a great fit for VR. I have a friend who has played the new VR version and he said it's a blast. I can say that the gameplay translates perfectly to VR. Edited August 21 by Lens
Button
I noticed that a fast-paced action like Bulletstorm is exactly what VR needs. I haven't played the new VR version yet, but it's definitely on my wishlist.
