Do you have a room just for your video games? AKA a Game Room

Yes, my gaming sanctuary..  A cozy room filled with consoles, PCs, retro arcade machines, and shelves of cherished games...

I wish I would be in your shoes right now. Having a gaming room makes playing games worth it and that is something that might make me want to relocate to another place soon.

The good thing about having a gaming room is that you will have your peace whenever you're playing your favourite games. Some gamers don't do so well when they are being distracted as they play.

Well, for as long as you have space to create a room as your gaming room in your house, that's completely possible for you to do so. It's when you don't have space or live in a cramped place that you can't do it.

Sure, I have more than enough space in my house. I would like to hop on it as soon as I have the budget. I have the plan all mapped out waiting to be unleashed like a rocked. 🤣

I decided to do a little photoshoot of my office today!

My desk:

The couch and TV-area:

My CRT and retro consoles:

The view from the couch

All of the drawers are full of games. The TV is not really at an ideal angle, but my plan is to get a better mounting solution when I get around to swapping out the TV

Not really game related, but here is also part of my vintage camera and vinyl collection, as well as the rest of my guitars and some signed posters by my favorite band

Your collection looks impressive. Those guitars are very beautiful. How much does each of them cost?

Thank you! Most of the ones one the wall really are not that expensive, the camo one and the stickerbombed bass I both bought used for about $100 each, the accoustic was about $250, but the black and white Explorer was about $650

My two favorite guitars are these though. The were both around $500 when I bought them. I mostly play bass these days, as that is what I play in my band. I used to play guitar in a different band, but quit about two years ago.

They look great. You have passion for music and that's great. It's only band that I can play right now. It always feels to be like playing guitar and also violin are difficult.

I really like your setup. It's very organized and the aesthetic has contrasting yet complimentary colors.

That's right. When you have your space when you play games, the confidence to do well is always there and you would end up performing really good at the end of the day.
