Kane99 Posted January 24 Share Posted January 24 The PS5 may be one of the fastest selling consoles around, as it's now surpassed the total number of SNES consoles sold. The article below discusses exactly this, and states that the PS5 currently has sold upwards of 52.96M unites worldwide as of December 2023. The SNES only sold a 49.10M units in its whole lifetime. The PS5 is coming for the Xbox Ones total sold next, which is sitting at 57.96M units sold. Which is more than I was expecting for Xbox. The next consoles they can reach are; NES - 61.91M Units Nintendo 3DS - 75.94M Units The article doesn't state any other consoles that had more units sold, though I imagine the Wii, Switch, PS2 are pretty high up there too.
