Kane99
Story here - https://www.psu.com/news/saber-interactive-sale-has-been-officially-confirmed-by-embracer-group/ It sounds like this may be good news, at least for Saber Interactive. It is being reported that Embracer group have decided to sell off Saber Interactive to a group of private investors at Beacon Interactive. The company is relatively new, but looks to be started by Matthew Karch, who is the co-founder of Saber Interactive. So it sounds like he's making an attempt to bring the studio back into his control. The studio was sold for $247 million and it includes these studios: Nimble Giant, 3D Realms, Sandbox Strategies, New World Interactive, and Slippage Ironworks. Sadly, it looks like Embracer will be keeping some of the studios, those being; Zen Studios, 4A Games, Tripwire, Beamdog, and Tuxedo Labs along with others not mentioned in the article.
