Reflecting on the Downsides: How has Modern Tech Negatively Impacted Our Lives?

Hey Everyone. We often hear about the perks of modern technology, but what about the downsides? In what way has technology negatively impacted your lives?

Our social lives have suffered! Today we have lots of people that find it hard to say hello to someone on the street. They find it hard to hold a conversation, due to modern technology. Many would rather stay on their PC and dissociate themselves from the real world. 
This is a growing menace, I’m afraid.

You're totally right. Most people nowadays can't have a basic conversation in face-to-face interactions and it is sad. Yes, there are lots of scummy people walking around but you still need basic communication skills to function.

I feel so sorry for the present generation. They are mostly on their devices, little to no effort into human interaction. I don’t even see it getting better. 
Gone are the days we will sit and listen to moonlight tales. Kids these days will rather be streaming TilTok and checking their social media accounts.

Friendship is going down the drain nowadays. No one is willing to have a personal need to meet people physically now as most things are now done online. I believe this won't have been happening, assuming we don't have technological advancement.

Agreed. They live in social media 24/7 which isn't really helping them to mature as an individual. Social Media is a useful tool for business. However, it will be the downfall of many generations to come.
