Do have a specific time for nap?

Recommended Posts

Taking a nap during the day is something that's very good for someone's health because it helps to keep one's body well rested, in good shape and refreshed in the day.

When it comes to taking a nap, do you have a specific time when you usually do it everyday or is it just what you do randomly?

It's quite random for me because although I try to nap at midday, it's not every day I feel tired enough to nap. Some days, I'm full of boundless energy throughout the day and there are others where I'm a bit tired by midday.

Napping isn't for me unless I'm ill, that's the only time when my body can be too weak to take a nap. I'm too energetic which doesn't allow me to nap at all.

I don't take naps during the day. I only sleep once a day i.e at night for 8 straight hours.

I wish it is possible for me to sleep 8 hours straight at night because it is going to help me so much during the day but unfortunately, I don't even get up to 4 hours straight of sleep at night.

I have found that I need to take naps during the day a lot more often than I ever used to since ending up with health issues I have now. I tend to set myself a time of around 12 pm to 2.30 pm if I take a nap so that I don't oversleep and know I will be able to sleep that night without issue.

The days I go without a nap, I know about it the following day and find that a nap is very much needed.

Generally, if I take a nap it’s around 3pm or 4pm and I usually nap for an hour or tw  . Sometimes longer.

I always do this on weekends. I can't take a nap on weekdays, but doing so on weekends makes more sense to me than trying to sleep during weekdays since I go to work.

Exactly. When I take a nap on weekends, i tend to nap a lot longer. I generally don’t take a nap during the week.

The week Is always busy for me as well. I condition how I sleep on weekdays in order to achieve optimal output for each day.

Same - I also make sure I go to bed early. That way I get a good night's rest and I have a lot of energy throughout the day.

I really wish it's possible for me to go to bed early. I want to but my body doesn't always agree with me. It's such a big burden for me over the years.
