StaceyPowers
Has anyone ever noticed that it sometimes suddenly becomes trendy to hate on certain games, even ones that came out years ago? Does anyone have any insights into what causes this toxic and annoying behavior? I see it a lot on Reddit. killamch89
killamch89
Hmmm - this is a tough one to answer because some deserve the ridicule so COD or Battlefield for instance, I can totally understand. However, it's the good games or ones trying something unique is where I'm baffled as to why is there hate. Also, some of the reasons for hating certain games are ridiculous and I've seen it a lot on Reddit as well. StaceyPowers
Scorpion
Absolutely! It's often fueled by nostalgia, social media trends, or just people wanting to fit in. Bandwagon hate can be exhausting.

Bandwagon hate can be exhausting. I agree. This often happens when influencers or prominent figures in the gaming community voice strong opinions about a game. People tend to follow these trends without always forming their own opinions. It can create an echo chamber effect where certain games unfairly get bashed.
