Should developers strictly guide the player's experience, or should players have the freedom to explore and play as they wish? There are games where the players would want a particular upgrade, and I feel that if the number of people asking for that is many, it should be granted. Bilita Posted May 23 Share Posted May 23 This is why I love open world and simulation games, because it gives me hte freedom to do whatever I want. One of my most favorite games is Stardew VAlley. Some games benefit from a more guided experience, where the developer's vision shines through, like The Last of Us. But others, like Breath of the Wild, thrive on giving players the freedom to solve problems in their own way.
