This was a game where everyone was expecting the German team to play their strikers, but the Spanish manager went with a strange lineup and ended up losing. Do you think that contributed to the loss? killamch89 Posted June 11 Share Posted June 11 Definitely. It doesn't make any sense to change what was working for you the entire season especially when going into a European final. This is why Pep Guardiola hasn't won more Champions Leagues - he chooses to tinker with his team when playing in the finals and it usually costs him.
