StaceyPowers
What games do you feel have held up really well visually, even though they are old and their graphics are dated? To me, Skyrim still looks beautiful. The original BioShock has also held up quite well.
Shagger
I don't care that the game sucks, Final Fantasy XIII is stunning, possibly the very best looking game in the series. It has a unique style and an instantly recognisable visual identity with creative designs, stunning environments and detailed character models. Every moment looking at this game is a true treat for the eyes. And, I must say, for the ears as well with great sound design, a lovely soundtrack that feels right with the game's look as well as some of the best voice acting the series has had. Yes, the graphics are bit dated at this point, especially if you play at higher resolutions, but a couple of mods and this game can look like it came out yesterday. The production values have really held up. Edited May 26 by Shagger
Scorpion
I agree! Games like Wind Waker and Shadow of the Colossus still look stunning. Their art styles really stand the test of time.
killamch89
I agree, Skyrim's landscapes still feel epic, especially with its use of atmospheric lighting and the contrast between nature and architecture. I’d add that games like Shadow of the Colossus and Okami have aged beautifully as well. Their unique art styles make them timeless in a way that realism often can’t match.
