I.e. soundtracking that adapts in response to where you are and what is happening in the game. I’d say DOOM Eternal has one of the most immersive ones - Mick Gordon’s score responds so dynamically to the chaos on screen. It really adds to the intensity of every fight. If you liked A Plague Tale: Requiem, you might also appreciate how Red Dead Redemption 2 subtly changes its soundtrack to reflect the pace of your journey or mission.
