StaceyPowers
Do you ever get attached to NPCs that you can’t collect as followers or such, but for some reason you struggle to walk away from them? I.e. cause they are in a bad situation in the game world, and you just sort of feel sorry for them? What’s the most over-the-top thing you did because of it? I couldn’t adopt Sophie in Skyrim on a playthrough, and ended up spelling her name in food in front of my door so I could headcannon that she’d see it and move in while I was away. Scorpion
Definitely! In *The Witcher 3*, I felt bad leaving some characters behind. I ended up replaying to save them all!
killamch89
I feel you. Some NPCs are just so well-written or placed in such tough situations that it’s hard to leave them behind. In Witcher 3, I spent way too long helping random villagers even though I knew their fate wouldn't change. Sophie’s story is heartbreaking - your way of making sure she had a place in your world is oddly sweet."
GameOn Posted yesterday at 05:59 AM Share Posted yesterday at 05:59 AM I became invested in the story of Arcade Gannon in Fallout: New Vegas. I kept him safe during the game and even to save him I had to kill other companions who were with him.
Button Posted yesterday at 02:33 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:33 PM In Dragon Age: Inquisition, I had compassion for the poor orphan, Cole. His loneliness resonated with me. I had to go out of my way just to finish his missions only to see him happy and safe.

I always wondered, do you think he would’ve approved of you sacrificing others for him, given his own internal conflicts with morality?
