Do you watch cutscenes or skip them?

Recommended Posts

I love cutscenes. That moment when you don’t control the characters, just sit back and watch watch the story unfold in a visually appealing way to the next level. It’s like watching a movie within the game. Any game I play, I have the habit of following through all the cutscenes.
Do you follow through on cutscenes?

I tend to watch cutscenes if it is my first playthrough of the game but if it's not and I am playing the game for the second or even the third time, I tend to skip the cutscenes then and move right into playing the game.

I love cutscenes, they contribute extra information into the plot, give a background, and display beautiful scenes. It’s common for me to watch them.  Cutscenes in the game like Final Fantasy, Metal gear solid, uncharted is one of the best experience you will ever come across. It's as if you are watching a movie.

Same here, if you are the type that does not get to follow the detail of the story, then cutscenes are very important. I never miss them no matter how many times i replay the game. The Last of Us, BioShock and Mass Effect all have amazing narratives and cutscenes are a big part of that.

Well, that of course depends on the game. If the story is interesting, as it's in the case of games like Witcher or Dragon Age, I will sit through any cutscene. But if the story is bad or complicated, I might leave them out so that I can indulge in gameplay.
