Kennysplash
I love cutscenes. That moment when you don’t control the characters, just sit back and watch watch the story unfold in a visually appealing way to the next level. It’s like watching a movie within the game. Any game I play, I have the habit of following through all the cutscenes. Do you follow through on cutscenes?
Shortie
I tend to watch cutscenes if it is my first playthrough of the game but if it's not and I am playing the game for the second or even the third time, I tend to skip the cutscenes then and move right into playing the game. Shagger
Why would anyone skip the cut scenes on a story based game? At least on the first play through.
killamch89
Ironically, on my first playthrough, I'll watch most of the cutscenes but on replays, I tend to skip them except if they are unskippable.
JennyorAlice
If it's the first time around, then yes. If I'm playing the game again, then I'll start skipping scenes unless it's a favorite part of mine.
Scorpion
Absolutely, I never skip cutscenes! They make the story so much richer and more immersive. I love that cinematic feel.
Button
I love cutscenes, they contribute extra information into the plot, give a background, and display beautiful scenes. It’s common for me to watch them. Cutscenes in the game like Final Fantasy, Metal gear solid, uncharted is one of the best experience you will ever come across. It's as if you are watching a movie. Same here, if you are the type that does not get to follow the detail of the story, then cutscenes are very important. I never miss them no matter how many times i replay the game. The Last of Us, BioShock and Mass Effect all have amazing narratives and cutscenes are a big part of that.
Lens
Well, that of course depends on the game. If the story is interesting, as it's in the case of games like Witcher or Dragon Age, I will sit through any cutscene. But if the story is bad or complicated, I might leave them out so that I can indulge in gameplay.
