Knight Barida
Swapping mobile phones is a common practice here. You can swap your old version of a device for a new one while paying a certain amount of money. Do you do that kind of thing?
killamch89
I've done it in the past and it'd be my preferred choice because you can offload a functional used phone while picking up a brand new one at a discounted price. Seems like a win-win situation to me.
Shortie
This is something that is possible to do over here, we call it getting a phone on contract, paying a monthly fee and upgrading the phone after a year or two. I haven't jumped and got a phone on contract but if I had the money and knew I could afford to keep the monthly payments going, it would be something I would consider. Cpvr
If I need a new phone, I’ll do it since it’ll make my new phone a lot cheaper. I haven’t done it since I upgraded from my iPhone 8 to the iPhone 13.

I had a Note20 Ultra that I loved but it just had to go but I might trade my phone for Pixel 7 or 8 Pro.
Bizdustry
It’s not common practice here. Unless you upgrade to a new phone on the same contract, but even if you do that you’ll be liable to pay the full amount. Usually in instalments and at 0% APR over 24 months for example. That really sounds like a horrible deal. That wouldn't happen to be the UK by any chance?
