Mario Kart, Mario Party or something like that because I feel those games are a bit more forgiving to beginners and they'll usually enjoy playing it even though they've probably never gamed before. I agree. I started off playing Mario games when I first started gaming. I actually have fond memories of playing Mario Kart with my brothers when we're kids. Fun times!
