Anders Posted October 2 Share Posted October 2 I'm currently playing Baldur's Gate 3. I haven't played the first two, and I really don't feel like I'm missing anything at all. It feels like a completely separate story, and although I'm sure there are some callbacks to previous games, there really are no references or characters that you won't recognize because you haven't played the others. I do however feel like the thing that helped me comprehend the game the best, was my previous experience with Dungeons & Dragons.
