Playing football comes with injuries which can't be avoided 100% because it's a contact sports. What's the worst injury you had playing football? killamch89 Posted August 19 Share Posted August 19 I once got kicked in the head accidentally because our team needed a goal and it was extra time. There was a goal mouth scramble and I did a diving header and finally got it over the line but in the process one of the defenders was trying to clear it and kicked me in the head. I've also had a foot injury, two ankle dislocation and knee injury. It was the knee injury that took me out permanently from playing for years now. I just play small but nothing serious. I mean, getting elbowed happens quite a bit and I've also had sprained ankles as well but knee injuries are serious stuff. Did you suffer ligament damage in the knee?
