What Classic Car Do You Dream of Owning?

Recommended Posts

I’ve always been fascinated by classic cars and wondered which one you’d choose if you could own any. Would you go for a sleek 1960s Ferrari, a timeless 1957 Chevy Bel Air, or maybe a rugged 1970s Land Rover? Share your dream classic car and why it’s at the top of your list.

I already have the car. It’s a 1987 Chevy Camaro Iroc-Z with T tops. I dreamed about it for 35 years. I finally got her a few years ago.

Her name is Dream.

That's a sick car! I can imagine it must have felt amazing finally realizing your dream after 35 years

My number one dream car is the DeLorean DMC-12. Can you guess what my favorite movie is?

A few other on my dream wishlist include the Lamborghini Countach, Ferrari F40 and De Tomaso Pantera. Unfortunately all of these are super expensive sports cars, so I will never ever own any of them.

Yeah, I remember when you got this. Do you plan to do any modifications to it?

Absolutely not. She is remaining as prime and pristine as she was when she was built. I won’t put stickers on her, I won’t even put magnets on her. She has personalized plates. I have a license plate frame and a necklace that I hang from the mirror. That’s as far as modifications will go. So far though, all she has is her personal plates. I haven’t put the frame or necklace on her yet though.

That's good. I'd keep it that way as well since it's a classic.

The only thing altered is the stereo. The people who had her before me took the original one out and replaced it with a CD player. I was going to buy a cassette adapter and use my MP3 player for music. I’ve considered finding an original cassette player for her, but that’s almost impossible.
