StaceyPowers
Did you miss out on any games because you were stuck on dial-up back when that was common? My friend reminded me the other day that is why we missed the early days of WoW.
Lens
Honestly, I missed out on playing World of Warcraft during its early days. This game required a stable internet connection, which the dial-up couldn't provide Edited September 11 by Lens
Button
I miss playing online games like Diablo II and StarCraft: Brood War due to the dial-up limitations.
Scorpion
Yah, I missed out on online gaming's golden era due to dial-up's limitations, but fond memories remain...
Anders
I remember picking up copy of City of Heroes at the closest store that sold games, which was about 20 minutes away, getting home, and then realizing it was an MMO. We had dial up, so there was no way I could play it. I was pretty bummed, but luckily I was able to go back to the store and exchange it for a copy of Knights of the Old Republic 2.
