Microsoft Cutting 650 More Jobs From Gaming Division Per Phil Spencer's Letter to Employees

Another day and more layoffs in the gaming industry, this time it's Microsoft with them cutting 650 more jobs from their gaming division. A letter to employees from Phil Spencer was leaked. It's alleged that the majority of people fired will be from the Activision-Blizzard side, mostly for corporate and support roles. 

Sad to see more cuts like this.

There is tension in the gaming industry and it is very disheartening to hear about Microsoft's layoffs. It's unfortunate to see the industry continue to experience cuts like this.

It’s really tough to see layoffs like this, especially in an industry where people are so passionate about their work. It makes you wonder how this will affect the teams that are left and whether the quality of their games might be impacted too. Hopefully, those affected will find new opportunities soon.

I think they do restructuring after the Activision-Blizzard acquisition. The only thing that is reassuring is that no games will be canceled.
