Kane99
If you guys watched the PlayStation Sate of play recently, you would have seen the reveal of the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima sequel called Ghost of Yotei, which takes place in the 1600s while the original game I think took place in the 1200s. In this one you play as a female samurai (I think samurai right?) named Atsu. I already heard some people throwing a fit that you play a woman. It's stupid that people make such a fuss about such things still. Anyway, this new game drops sometime 2025.
killamch89
Ghost of Yotei sounds awesome! I'm really excited about the shift in timeline and the idea of playing as Atsu. It’s always refreshing to explore new perspectives in a series, especially through characters that bring different dynamics to the story. Can't wait for 2025! Button
This is an exciting news! Returning as Atsu a female samurai is refreshing. The historical setting of 1600’s and a new protagonist gives me hope that it will be as interesting as the previous ones.

I completely agree! no need to backlash. From the storyline, I'm so sure that it will most probably excel, in the same way as its predecessor. The sentiment of the backlash is not real because diversity actually adds to the gaming experience. The Atsu’s story has the capacity to represent something new and give us great graphics.
