Ravenfreak
Back in the late 00's and early 10's there was a point in time where you could become friends with people on Youtube! I honestly forgot about that until I was reading very old emails I had left in my inbox. I had quite a few people add me as their friend years ago, this was when Youtube was more like your typical social media platform where you could send messages to people and customize your channel to your liking too. I wonder if those people eventually would become subscribers of your channel once they removed that feature. Did you use Youtube during this time period and did you have friends too? The Blackangel
I was just a kid back then. I was in my early 20’s and not on there much. I was probably around 22. Maybe 21. Like I said, I was just a kid. I made a rare and occasional friendly acquaintance online, but until I met @Rain Dew nothing lasting. I made friends in different states and different countries. Canada, Mexico, Scotland, Switzerland, Germany, Holland and Australia to name a few. At least those are the ones I can remember. But I don’t think they were from YouTube. Most were through the website I used to run. I have met and had a friendly experience with a few YouTubers. But nothing that I would call a friendship. killamch89
I do remember this in the mid 2000s. I had quite a number of YouTube friends on my old AOL account. Those were some good times when we could get quality videos and people were free to express their opinion without being banned for every little thing.
