I know it's more common for Teams to be used in a workplace rather than for personal reasons, the place I worked at prior to getting my new job used Teams. We used it to communicate between the department and with the other clerks. I currently work at U.S. Bank in their lockbox department and the company does use Teams for meetings but I don't think I'll be using it as much as the managers do.
