Whether it's the classic "Super Metroid" or a newer hit like "Hollow Knight," this genre has a lot to offer. It was one of the first games to truly nail the exploration aspect for me, and I feel like it set the standard for the entire genre. The sense of isolation and discovery is unmatched.
