Heatman
Both Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi will forever remain the biggest legend in the history of football. They have won everything there is to be won both individually and as a team. Unfortunately, age is catching up with both of them. Cristiano Ronaldo is 39 years old and Messi is 37 years old. Who do you think will hang up his boots first?
killamch89
I can't really say for sure as both of them have kept themselves in tip top shape over the years.

I think Ronaldo would be the first guy to retire. I have that feeling and have always looked at the angles which showed that Ronaldo might struggle to carry on for another 3 years from now. Ronaldo's game is more about poaching so he doesn't need speed or even dribbling skills. You shunt him in the forward role and he doesn't burden the team even if he can't defend. Messi is a bit trickier as he's an amazing playmaker but in the modern game, midfielders tend to have to do a lot more defensive work compared to 10-20 years ago.
