What’s a Game You Wish Had a Sequel?

I’ve been thinking about all the amazing games that either never got a sequel or ended on a cliffhanger. For me, it’s Okami - the world is so rich and full of quirky characters that I can’t help but want more. What about you? Is there a game you loved that left you craving a follow-up? Whether it’s an old classic or a recent gem, share your picks and let’s dream about the sequels we wish we could play.

I completely agree! "Beyond Good & Evil" left me wanting more. Its intriguing story and characters deserve a sequel to explore further!

Funny, two months later there's a sequel announced for Okami which was announced at the recent game awards. They must've read my thread. lol.

I would love to see a direct sequel to FF8. Seeing everyone celebrating at the end, but not knowing what happened to them after, left me wanting more. Did Rinoa and Squall get married? Did any of them turn evil for whatever reason? Did Squall and Rinoa have kids? Did they get sent to Garden, or did Squall personally train them? Did Squall become a new headmaster of Garden?

There’s just so many questions unanswered that I really want a sequel.

I know what you mean. FF 7 has so many reboots and even has parallel universes - The ending of FF8 was very vague and we don't really know how everyone truly ended up.
