killamch89
In recent discussions about inclusivity and competition in Esports, the idea of gender-segregated tournaments has come up. Proponents argue it provides a more level playing field and encourages female participation, while opponents believe it may reinforce stereotypes and limit opportunities. What are your thoughts? Do you think separating tournaments by gender could enhance the gaming community, or should Esports focus on open competition regardless of gender? Shagger
Gender segregation in athletic competition is understandable, but for e-sports it's ridiculous. It's like having gender segregation for a Chess tournament, it makes no sense and can't be justified.

I just heard them arguing about this on Twitter but then again, Twitter is where a good portion of brain-dead people on social media gather so I wasn't surprised. If you want to hear brain-dead opinions about anything, just take one look on Twitter.
