Kane99
The retro gaming market to me, feels like it's just getting more and more expensive. If you're a collector, it's becoming harder to find games on the cheap. You still can, but you have to go hunting for them. Not only that, but with physical media starting to die out, I think prices are going to go up even further. Do you hope prices stay low? I'm already seeing Xbox 360 and PS3 games increase in price, and I think soon enough we will be hearing about how so and so video game is going for $100+ now because of how rare it is to find now. Anyway, do you have a hard time finding retro games these days that are priced cheaply? Or has everything gone up for the most part?
killamch89
Yeah, I’ve noticed the price hikes too. It’s interesting how the market has shifted, especially with physical media becoming less common. Some retro games, especially the more obscure or popular ones, have become really pricey. But for those willing to dig into local shops, estate sales, or online marketplaces, there are still deals to be found. It’s becoming more about the hunt than just browsing stores. I wouldn’t mind if prices stayed a bit more stable, though, so that collectors who aren’t millionaires can still get their hands on the classics. Scorpion
Absolutely, the retro gaming market is increasingly pricey! It’s tough finding good deals now; I wish prices would stabilize or drop.
