Recently Kojima Productions did a surprise release of Death Stranding on the Xbox Series X|S today, and it was later revealed that Kojima Productions now has full ownership of the IP for Death Stranding. Which means the DS2 could release on all consoles and PC right out the gate going forward, unless there is a timed exclusivity for it, which I could see Sony doing. I'm hearing it's also releasing for the Amazon Luna platform. Kojima having full control over Death Stranding means we might get more unique and experimental content, like we've seen in the first game. It could also mean faster releases on multiple platforms without the usual exclusive delays. Death Stranding 2 dropping simultaneously across consoles and PC would be a win for all players.
