Have You Ever Modified or Repaired an Xbox Accessory?

Have you ever customized or repaired any Xbox accessories? Maybe you've done a controller shell swap, repaired a headset, or even customized a faceplate? I remember modifying my original Xbox 360 faceplate with permanent markers back in the day.

Controllers all the time. And not just for Xbox, but pretty much any and every system. It’s not hard, and making a few bucks doing it is always welcome.

I mean, I've done shell replacement and button replacement for Xbox controllers before so no biggie but I've never really modified one. I think I should give it a go.

Just make sure you have the wiring right, otherwise you’ll likely end up just wasting your time. It’s a pain to press A, but get the action that’s supposed to be assigned to B.

Yeah, I know. Did that with a PlayStation Controller once - it was a hilarious experience, honestly.
