killamch89
With PlayStation’s focus on big-budget, narrative-driven titles, do you think they’re open to embracing more experimental or niche games? We’ve seen some indie gems on the platform, but are they truly supporting creativity in gaming, or are they prioritizing more traditional, safe bets? What kind of indie or experimental games would you like to see PlayStation take a chance on?
Scorpion
I hope PlayStation embraces more experimental games. Indie titles like unique RPGs or narrative-driven adventures could diversify their portfolio and inspire creativity.
killamch89
I think PlayStation is definitely open to indie and experimental games, but they tend to showcase the ones with a unique hook that align with their larger brand. Games like Journey and Hades are examples of experimental indie games that found success on the platform. Still, they might not always prioritize those kinds of games over the big-budget blockbusters. I’d love to see PlayStation take more risks on weird, genre-bending games like Outer Wilds or Disco Elysium.
