Kane99
The Game Awards 2024 will be airing December 12th. You can tune in via YouTube and Twitch, from the Game Awards channel but I'm sure IGN and others will be sharing the stream as well. For example, here's what games are up for Game of the Year: Astro Bot Balatro Black Myth: Wukong Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth Metaphor: Regantazio It feels like this list is missing a few games. The Blackangel
I only saw a handful of games that I was actually familiar with, so I can’t really make an objective pic when I have no basis for comparison. But the list looked good from my ignorant perspective.
Shagger
So DLC expantions and re-releases are now valid for GOTY? For fuck sake...
The Blackangel
2024 has been the year of the remake. For this competition it was kinda to be expected.
killamch89
Black Myth Wukong is definitely getting my vote. It's a brilliant game with rich lore and fun and amazing gameplay. I've been saying this all of 2024 that the amount of quality games has been severely lacking. Also, how comes Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero didn't make the cut either? I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting a few other games as well. How comes they weren't nominated for game of the year?
