The Blackangel
My personal morals definitely impact my gaming. I’ll focus on RDR2 as that one is the best one to explain exactly what I mean. I would NEVER willingly harm a rat. There’s a long story behind that, which I’m not getting into. I have accidentally trampled them in my horse, and having hurt one, I want to cry. Another moral applies directly to who I’m playing as. When I’m Arthur, I always accept the woman’s offer to assist me when I take a bath. As John however, since he has a family, I will never accept. I absolutely hate cheaters in romantic relationships. I would advocate for then to be tied up and beaten with a barbed cat-o-nine-tails. One lashing for each proven experience of adultery. Every time they met is a lashing. If they actually had sex, that’s an extra 20 lashings. If they die from the lashings, oh well. Good riddance. Rather than buying a horse, I prefer to catch and tame wild horses. And I know exactly where to find almost every breed. Including rare ones like the Arabian (red chestnut, warped brindle, white), and Andalusian (perlino). Kentucky Saddlers and Tennessee Walkers are everywhere obviously. So my morals directly have an impact on my gaming experiences. What about you?
killamch89
Nope. In-game, I'm a genocidal madman that only strives to blow up everything except with White Phosphorus (Spec Ops is the only game that made me feel bad for my genocidal actions).
Scorpion
Absolutely, I've refused to progress in games that glorify violence or discrimination, prioritizing integrity over virtual achievements and scores.
