killamch89
When it comes to game soundtracks, do you lean more toward the grandeur of orchestral scores, with their sweeping, cinematic tones, or do you prefer the unique vibe of electronic/experimental music, with its more ambient, sometimes boundary-pushing qualities? How does each type affect your immersion and emotional connection to the game?
Scorpion
I'm drawn to electronic/experimental soundtracks for their atmospheric tension and emotional resonance, which often complement the game's narrative and visuals more effectively.

Personally, I think both have their place depending on the game. Orchestral music shines in epic, story-driven games where the narrative calls for big emotions, like The Legend of Zelda or Final Fantasy. On the other hand, electronic/experimental tracks work brilliantly for atmospheric or futuristic settings, like in Cyberpunk 2077 or Inside. For me, it’s all about how the music complements the game's tone and setting.
