What isn't allowed in your house?

I know that most people have their own house ground rules. It's all about what's allowed and not allowed to happen in the house. My dad one time forbid anyone having sêx in his house. It was a big rule in our home back then. You can have your girlfriend over but never allowed to have sêx with her in the house. 

What isn't allowed in your house?

No shoes in the house as I like my floor clean. And treat everything with care and be respectful. That's more or less it.

This is proper. Not letting shoes into the house is very good and a nice way to get the rules implemented. I wouldn't want to have shoes in my own house as well.

I've always implemented that rule because having to clean muddy shoeprints and remnants of mud is so time-consuming.

We don’t allow smoking in our house. If you’re a smoker you have to do it outside. It doesn’t matter what the weather is like. It’s outside or not at all.

I also don't allow smoking in mine either. Unless that smoke is coming from me cooking.

We don’t allow smoking in our household either. We smoke outside as well.

Mine neither. I've come to hate the scent of cigarette smoke as an adult.

It's fair and a way to teach everyone that is around the home what being neat is all about. Having such a rule creates a sense of responsibility where even visitors get to know what cleanliness meant to your household.

Inside my house is extremely clean outside of one or two areas. I'd love to keep it that way.

That's beautiful. Everyone coming around will know that and will certainly want to fit into what works along the line. No one could come into an area such as that and wouldn't want to behave themselves.

Yep - I want to keep my place like that as well. I don't want to live in a swamp.
