killamch89
With advancements in technology, athlete training, and media coverage, sports have evolved rapidly in recent years. Some argue that the Golden Age of sports with iconic legends and unforgettable moments which defined an era has already passed. Others believe we're on the verge of an even greater era, where the best is yet to come. What do you think? Are we in the prime of sports history, or is the real Golden Age still ahead of us? The Blackangel
I think the golden age of sports is long over. The true legends of their sport played back in the 60’s and 70’s. Yes every sport has had real legends since then. Magic Johnson in basketball. Joe Montana in football. Wayne Gretzky in hockey. Ozzie Smith in baseball. I don’t know soccer so I can’t comment there. But in my opinion, despite all the recent greats, the golden age is long gone.

Michael Jordan, Michael Schumacher, Jeff Gordon, Muhammad Ali - sports will never have such impactful legends like these again.
