For example, pop music often feels like it's driven more by trends and marketability than artistic innovation. On the other hand, some underground genres seem to get buried under the mainstream's spotlight. Is there a balance between commercial success and staying true to the roots, or has the industry just become a machine pushing what's easiest to sell?
