Bizdustry
Some video games are very violent. Do you think they influence gamers in real life? What do you think? Companies are already taking measures like restricting certain violent games to those aged 18 years and over but do you think this is enough? killamch89
Nope and there has never been any concrete evidence that violent videogames actually influence people to be violent.
GameOn
Inappropriate video games such as violent ones can change the young people’s minds. Restricting them only to adults is preferable. But parents should also pay attention to what their children play and keep explaining to them that it is only a game.

Kids may be impressionable, but they're not insane. Human beings are sentient. That means we have an inherent ability to fantasise. as part of that ability, we also are naturally able to recognise the difference between fantasy and reality. If anyone, beit child or adult, is not able to differentiate between fantasy and reality then there is something wrong, something that has nothing to do with being a child. Children spend more time in fantasy, especially when it works into play. That might make it seem like that line between fantasy and reality gets blurry to them, but trust me it's not. Obviously, parents should not let young kids play games that are only suitable for adults, but only for the same reasons they should not let them watch adult rated movies. Scorpion
Violent video games can impact behavior, but influence varies by individual. Age restrictions help, but comprehensive media literacy is essential.

I played games like Manhunt and other violent games as a kid and I never turned into some psychopath and there are plenty of other people here who did the same and turned out to be positive contributors to society. There has never been any evidence to link the two in any meaningful way.
