Who’s Your Favorite Nintendo Character (That’s Not Mario, Link, or Pikachu)?

We all know the big three - Mario, Link, and Pikachu but Nintendo’s roster is massive and filled with unique characters. Who’s your favorite underrated or lesser-discussed Nintendo character? Is it someone from Metroid, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, or maybe a quirky NPC?

I really love Captain Toad! He’s such a unique character with a charming personality. The puzzle aspects of his games are so fun, and he deserves more recognition for his adventures!

One of my favorites is Kyle "Blackthorne" Vlaros, out for revenge on Sarlac and his minions. The game Blackthorne is an absolute masterpiece. But if you want someone more well known, it would probably be Bowser. He doesn’t give up and leads Mario on a never ending journey, through multiple unique worlds to save Princess Toadstool, aka Peach. He’s a great symbol for tenacity.

I have always been drawn to Samus Aran from the Metroid series. Her strength, resilience, and pioneering role as a powerful female protagonist set her apart and inspire me to appreciate the depth and diversity of Nintendo’s character roster.
