killamch89
With Atari turning to crowdfunding for its "VCS" console, I'm curious about how the gaming community feels about it. Is this a cool opportunity to bring back a nostalgic brand, or does it feel like a cash grab? Do you think Atari can recapture the magic of its past, or is it doomed to fail in a modern market? Scorpion
The Atari VCS crowdfunding effort sparks mixed feelings. While it's a chance to revive a beloved brand, skepticism remains about its viability in today’s market. Nostalgia can drive interest, but without strong innovation, it risks being seen as a cash grab.
killamch89
Atari's VCS crowdfunding campaign initially excited me as a retro gaming fan, but the numerous delays, shifting specifications, and vague marketing left me skeptical. The final product landed in an awkward middle ground - not powerful enough for modern games yet overpriced for a retro machine.
