Shortie
As gamers, we always notice the different trends that happen, some of them last a while and others tend to come around and be gone again quite quickly, so quick that sometimes we don't even realize there was a trend that we missed. What trends in gaming would you say you love or hate right now?
Knight Plug
I enjoy videos on YouTube, where people like myself notice how dumb Resident Evil is now. Just copying stuff and everybody bar a few, seems to accept it. I just got done listening to someone saying RE has dumped science for fantasy. LOL. And that's absolutely true. RE7 was dumb. As dumb as it was, it had some RE style elements, being more survival horror in tone than that crappy RE6 ever was. But RE8 came out. LOL. I guess I've already repeated all my points about it, but holy hell, is that game just so dumb? It really has nothing to do with RE at all. Chris doesn't even look nor act like the Chris of old. He's an iconic character. One of the key personnel who battled Umbrella with Jill Valentine. Now he is just lame. Everything about that RE8 just cries 'farcical' to me. Because RE used to be about viruses, and you were dealing with the corporation that basically caused these outbreaks. Then it ended up being a franchise about cultists, hillbillies and vampires. LOL. RE5 and 4 are just shooters with the RE name on them. Once Albert Wesker was killed off, that was it. RE wasn't even really RE anymore. Yet I continued because, as you know, you get attached to things you grew up on as a teenager, or maybe even beforehand. But yeah. Capcom definitely ruined RE. Kennysplash
A trend I have noticed is the rise of cloud gaming. Cloud gaming services like Google Stadia, Nvidia GeForce Now, and Xbox Cloud Gaming are expanding, offering gamers convenience and accessibility without the need for expensive hardware. Scorpion
I love the rise of co-op games that encourage teamwork, but I’m tired of overly repetitive battle passes in many titles.
killamch89
I hate live-service games right now and they seem to be everywhere nowadays. On the other hand, I like games that are coming out that offer a unique narrative and has excellent storytelling like Black Myth Wukong.
