Not only is it a completely hidden treasure but it leaves the mystery of who (or what) Chris Houlihan is or means. There have been gamers offering theories, but nothing has ever been confirmed by Nintendo. Or denied for that matter. For me, It's definitely the Ocarina of Time Easter egg where you can find a reference to Link’s Awakening by speaking to the character 'Mabe Village'. I knew I had too much of my mum's christmas cake. What I meant to write was in reference to Zelda's A Link To The Past. The house with the unique roof design in Ocarina of Time’s Mabe Village is a direct reference to the same location in A Link to the Past. It was appreciation of the earlier game by the devs and highlighting the connection between the two games. I knew something was off when I left my PS5 controller in the fridge yesterday.
