What's a game you remember stressing your system to run back in the day?

We all had that one game that pushed our old PCs or consoles to the limit. Whether it was the latest graphics, intense processing power, or just sheer scale, some games made us upgrade hardware or deal with constant lag. What game made your system sweat? Did you have to tweak settings or overclock your machine just to play it?

"Skyrim" pushed my old PC to the brink. I had to lower settings and occasionally overclock to enjoy lag-free gameplay.

For me, it was Crysis. The game was so badly optimized for PC, that it had my Gaming PC at the time which could run any other game with ease, crying out in agony.
