killamch89
I've been playing through different Fire Emblem titles, and I’m curious about others' experiences with the difficulty curve. Some games start off relatively easy but can become punishing as you progress, especially with permadeath. Do you find the difficulty ramp-up rewarding, or does it feel frustrating at times? How do you approach balancing strategy, leveling up units, and managing resources as the difficulty increases?
Scorpion
I find the difficulty curve rewarding! It challenges my strategy and resource management, making victories feel earned, even if frustrating sometimes.
killamch89
I think the difficulty curve in Fire Emblem can be a bit unpredictable, but it definitely keeps the gameplay engaging. Early on, it can feel like a breeze, but once you start hitting those mid-game spikes, it really challenges you to think critically. I usually play with permadeath on, so I try to keep my units spread out and make sure to use my resources wisely. It can be frustrating when a single mistake leads to a game-over, but that’s part of the thrill.
