I've logged hundreds of hours on planes, trains, and during lunch breaks that would have been impossible with a console. Handheld gaming will always be convenient if you love to game but can't always be on your console. I have lost count of the amount of times my Nintendo Switch has come in clutch when I have been travelling, waiting for appointments, and even just wanting to be in the garden on warm days where my console would not be possible.
