killamch89
With the rise of "deluxe" or "special" editions of games, many publishers are locking away significant content behind these paywalls. This includes bonus levels, characters, and in some cases, essential features. Do you think it's fair to withhold key content from the base game, or does this model harm the gaming experience? Is there a point where the value of these editions crosses the line into content gating for the sake of profits?

While cosmetic items or smaller perks are one thing, essential game content should be available to everyone. It feels like a way to nickel and dime people, which can definitely harm the gaming experience and make it less enjoyable overall.
