killamch89
There's a growing debate around whether developer tools that help players fix bugs or enhance games should be freely available to the public. Some argue that it empowers the community to improve games, especially when developers may not have the resources to patch issues. Others believe these tools should stay in the hands of the creators to maintain control over the experience and avoid misuse. Where do you stand on this? Should players have more access, or should these tools remain exclusive to the development team?
Scorpion
I believe players should have access to developer tools, as community involvement fosters innovation and creativity, leading to improved gaming experiences.
killamch89
I think giving players access to developer tools can lead to amazing community-driven fixes and mods, especially for games that no longer have active support. However, there needs to be some oversight to prevent misuse or accidental issues. A balanced approach, where tools are available but with certain safeguards, could work.
