Is it ethical to use misleading trailers to promote a game?

In the gaming industry, we've seen a rise in controversial marketing tactics, such as misleading trailers or exaggerating game features. While it might boost initial sales or hype, does it cross an ethical line? Should developers and publishers be held accountable for how they represent their games, or is it just a competitive strategy? Where should we draw the line between effective marketing and misleading the consumer?
