I have bonded with someone over a game before, but not indie game. There is a guy we still talk till today because of FIFA game. We bonded so much over it and we are friends until distance happened.

That's how I met my gaming buddies. We used to play Eden Eternal back in the 2010s and we've been gaming together ever since.

When I started my current job a few years back, I was chatting with a coworker and the subject of gaming came up. She mentioned having played and really enjoyed Return of The Obra Dinn, which was a game I had heard very good things about, but never played it. I pretty much immediately started playing it on her recommendation, and I really loved it. I would definitely say we bonded over talking about it.
