Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Nextgen Edition Available for Download, how long will Rockstar allow it to stay up?

I guess someone remade Vice City in GTA IV's Rage engine and are calling it the Nextgen Edition, and they released it fairly recently to all to download. The people behind the mod already lost their original YouTube account because of Rockstar, so I'm doubtful this game will stick around too much longer. 

The issue though with this version, is that it doesn't require the original game to play. So they are essentially releasing the full game for free. Which I think Rockstar might not like and will take action on. 

But, you can still see the trailer for the Nextgen edition below. Not sure how long this one will stay up though. Honestly it looks pretty good though. I kind of wish Rockstar would just work with these modders and developers who are giving new life to their games.

It's cool that someone made a Vice City remake using GTA IV's engine, but I'm worried about its future since Rockstar might take it down. The graphics look great though; it’s a shame!
